History of the company
Founded in 1985 by a passionate young audioprosthetist, Groupe Forget, Audioprosthetists is now the largest network in hearing health in Quebec, with over 90 clinics across the province. For over 35 years, we have been helping our patients rediscover the pleasure of hearing and raising public awareness about the importance of hearing health.
As a natural extension of our corporate mission, we created the Fondation Groupe Forget in 2008 to offer the gift of hearing. The goal of this non-profit organization is to improve living conditions for people with hearing loss through donations and support programs.
Groupe Forget’s services
The audioprosthetists at Groupe Forget provide a wide range of hearing services and products, including:

- Audioprosthetic visits and recommendations

- Hearing aid verification and cleaning
- Hearing aid fitting and programming
- Hearing aid repair
- Hearing protection and swimming ear plugs
- Hearing aid accessories and batteries

Our partnership with the Polyclinique de l’Oreille means Groupe Forget can provide centralized services, making it so much easier for you to rediscover the pleasure of hearing. Most of the Groupe Forget clinics offer their services alongside the entire range of hearing health professionals, all under one roof.
Groupe Forget works closely with ENT doctors and audiologists. If required after your first visit with one of our audioprosthetists, you may be referred to a hearing professional near you.
Our audioprosthetists are accredited with the Quebec health insurance plan (Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec), Quebec’s workers’ compensation board (CNESST) and Veterans Affairs. Our services may also be reimbursed by private insurance. Inquire with your company.
